This Privacy Policy explains how FemPal - Period Tracker collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the FemPal mobile app, website, services, subscriptions, and related features.
1. Information We Collect
FemPal may collect information you choose to enter into the app, including cycle dates, period length, cycle length, flow, mood, symptoms, discharge notes, checklist progress, reminder settings, and other wellness details you choose to save.
If you create or connect an account, we may collect account-related information such as your email address or authentication identifier so your progress can be saved and restored.
We may also collect basic technical information such as device type, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, purchase status, and usage events needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide core FemPal features, including period predictions, fertile-window estimates, reminders, wellness logs, checklists, insights, and account syncing.
We may use technical and diagnostic information to improve app performance, fix bugs, protect against misuse, and understand which features are helpful to users.
FemPal does not use your cycle or wellness information to provide a medical diagnosis, fertility guarantee, or professional healthcare advice.
3. Health and Wellness Data
FemPal is designed for personal tracking and wellness organization. Information entered into the app may be sensitive because it can relate to your period, fertility window, symptoms, mood, or body patterns.
We treat this information carefully and use it only to provide and improve FemPal features. We do not sell your personal cycle or wellness information.
You should contact a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns, unusual symptoms, severe pain, heavy bleeding, pregnancy questions, fertility concerns, or any health issue that worries you.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
FemPal may offer a paid subscription for features such as removing ads. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment providers used by the app.
We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. Payment, billing, cancellation, refund, and renewal handling are managed by the app store or payment provider used for your purchase.
We may receive purchase status information, such as whether your Remove Ads subscription is active, expired, canceled, or restored, so the app can unlock the correct experience.
5. Ads and Remove Ads
FemPal may display ads in the free version of the app. Advertising partners may process limited device, ad, or usage information to serve, measure, and improve ads.
If you purchase the Remove Ads subscription, FemPal will use your subscription status to remove ads from the app while the subscription remains active.
Some technical, billing, or subscription status data may still be processed even after ads are removed so the app can confirm your entitlement.
6. Third-Party Services
FemPal may use trusted third-party services for app hosting, authentication, database storage, analytics, crash reporting, ads, subscription management, and app store billing.
These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to FemPal. Examples may include Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, advertising networks, analytics tools, and crash-reporting services.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and data practices. Your use of FemPal may also be subject to the privacy terms of Apple, Google, or other service providers used on your device.
7. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You are responsible for keeping your device, account credentials, and app access secure. If you believe your account or data has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide FemPal, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, secure the app, and maintain business records.
You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting us. Some information may be retained if required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or app store compliance reasons.
9. Children’s Privacy
FemPal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through FemPal, contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
10. Your Choices
You can choose what information you enter into FemPal. Some features may not work correctly if required information is not provided.
You may manage notifications through your device settings, manage subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play, and request data support by contacting us.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, website, or app store listing.
Your continued use of FemPal after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
